Vans has always been a staple in the sneaker world, known for its classic designs and consistent collaborative projects. Recently, Vans restructured its Vans Vault division into Vans OTW (Off The Wall), broadening its collaborative efforts and allowing for more innovative designs. The latest project under Vans OTW is a bold collaboration with the renowned Japanese streetwear brand Undercover, led by designer Jun Takahashi. Together, they are set to release the Anarchy Is The Key Pack, featuring four distinct sneakers, including two Vans Eras and two Sk8-Mid colorways, perfectly blending Vans' classic aesthetic with Undercover's rebellious spirit.
The Anarchy Is The Key Pack showcases two Sk8-Mid colorways and two Vans Era colorways, each with unique and striking designs. The Sk8-Mids feature the phrase Anarchy Is The Key boldly displayed across the canvas upper. One Sk8-Mid colorway combines black, red, and white, while the other features black, white, and blue.
These contrasting colors make the statement loud and clear, embodying the essence of rebellion and freedom. On the other hand, the Vans Eras sport a classic checkerboard pattern, available in black and white on one pair and red and black on the other. Both versions of the Era are adorned with ominous hand graphics across the upper, adding an eerie yet captivating touch. Completing the look on all four pairs is a white vulcanized rubber midsole and a gum rubber outsole, staying true to Vans' iconic skate style.
The Undercover x Vans OTW Anarchy Is The Key pack will release on July 13, 2024, via Undercover online and in-store, while a wider launch through Vans will take place on July 16. This larger drop will see the Black Red Sk8-Mid and the White Black Vans Era release, leaving the other two exclusives to Undercover. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $100 for the Sk8-Mid and $95 for the Vans Era.
