Unheardof x adidas Adistar Cushion Pork Chop Piggy Runner Blue

On the eve of Unheardof’s latest collaboration with adidas launching, the retailer hosted a launch party in Cincinnati, inviting friends, family, and members of the sneaker industry to celebrate the new Adistar Cushion Pork Chop Piggy. While this pink rendition of the pig-themed mesh runner is limited to 1,500 pairs, two more were revealed in person at this launch event, one for F&F and another limited to just 1,000 pairs.

Sole Retriever was fortunate enough to be invited to the event, getting first-hand looks at both pairs. Each pair, the F&F being the pink and blue combo and the other version of the Piggy Runner coming entirely bathed in a blue hue, comes with the same construction as the original. Starting with the F&F iteration, we see pink shades coat the mesh base, mudguard, Three Stripes, and heel overlay, while the toebox and midfoot panels come in a blue hue. Aside from this, the rest of the upper remains identical to the main pair, though the sole unit comes with a blue hit near the heel.

For the second pair releasing to the public, Unheardof has 1,000 pairs available for purchase in-person at their event and in-store, with leftover pairs hitting the website tomorrow on release day alongside the pink Piggy Runner. As mentioned before, things are identical in terms of material placement, but instead this pair opts for a blue finish with pink accents on the Three Stripes.

The Unheardof x adidas Adistar Cushion Pork Chop Piggy Runner Blue will release in person at the retailer’s friends-and-family event today, March 28, with leftover pairs hitting the Unheardof website at 11:00 AM.
