Australian boutique Up There has impacted the collaborative footwear world, becoming a household name to sneakerheads via its hit projects with New Balance and Asics. Most recently, Up There reworked a 2010s classic from NB, the 860v2, and gave it a 2000s-inspired color palette alongside contemporary material choices. However, the brand's work on the model is unfinished, as the founders of Up There, alongside various friends and family, have been teasing a follow-up to the project.
Moving on from the first collab's green and earthy color palette, this new Up There New Balance 860v2 comes in a pastel, springtime-ready color scheme featuring pink and blue hues. The same material makeup is present here, including the double-layer mesh base with a vibrant pink hue. Violet shades line the panels along the midfoot and the lateral toebox, while the medial side opts for a light blue finish to match the mudguard. A large N logo on the midfoot takes on a silver finish, lined with metallic blue hits and resting above a white mesh panel. Further hits of metallic blue are located along the top eyestays and the 860v2-branded heel overlay, each of which features pops of pink in the center. Final details include:
