In the lead-up to the launch of the new Nike Vapor Edge infused with the Nike Kobe 6 Protro, debuting in the iconic Grinch colorway, the University of Southern California (one of a handful of schools part of the Mamba Program) has just showcased an exclusive colorway of the Nike Vapor Edge Kobe 6.
Identical to the pair that is about to be released in terms of construction, this Vapor Edge Kobe 6 version comes in the Trojan’s black, gold, and burgundy color scheme. The faux reptile skin upper takes on a primarily black finish, with the Swoosh painted on the midfoot in burgundy with a yellow outline. Kobe’s sheath logo along the tongue continues the accenting yellow hues. White laces provide another contrasting color, matching the Kobe signature found on the black TPU heel counter. Below, the silhouette borrows the tooling from the Vapor Edge cleat, taking on a black, yellow, and burgundy finish to complete the nod to USC.
As this is a player exclusive, the Nike Vapor Edge Kobe 6 USC will remain exclusive to the Trojan’s football players.
