After teaming up for the four-sneaker "Animal Pack" earlier this month, Tokyo's Billy's has reunited with Anaheim's Vans for the Vans Slip-On "Year Of The Rabbit" Collection. Celebrating the fourth animal in the Chinese zodiac, this CNY-themed collection is dropping just in time for the Lunar New Year, so keep reading to find out everything that you need to know, including confirmed release information, pricing details, and so much more.
Taking on the iconic Slip-On silhouette, Billy's version arrives in three unique color schemes that rework the classic checkerboard pattern. Spotted here in black, red, and green flavors, the canvas uppers are covered with a square motif and remixed with two black and white rabbits that curl into each other to form a yin and yang symbol, further nodding to the collaboration's Chinese theme. Elsewhere, the sneakers are finished off with complementary hems and stitching, and sit on top of crisp white vulcanized rubber midsoles for a half pipe-ready look and feel.
The Vans Slip-On Year Of The Rabbit Collection will be available in men's sizes and will release on January 1st, 2023 exclusively at Billy's in Japan. In terms of retail, the range will be priced at around $100 each.
