While a brand's core product offering generates the most money, collaborations help highlight certain silhouettes in the lineup. adidas is no stranger to bringing collaborators to the table, as seen with their recent Sean Wotherspoon and atmos collabs on the way. On top of these, the Three Stripes is bringing Victorinox on board to put their Swiss Army Knife on the adidas EQT Support 93.
Constructed out of a canvas-based upper, leather and suede overlays accent throughout. The color palette chosen brings the Swiss brands’ iconic logo to sneaker form. Along the red toe box, a tan suede mudguard wraps towards the bottom eyelet. Running up the tongue, bungee laces weave in and out toward the black and red adidas branded tongue tag on the right shoe and Victorinox on the left. Further adidas branding can be seen with the Three Stripes logo on the midfoot coming constructed in nylon on the lateral side and Victorinox logo stamped on the medial side.
On the left pair, a leather Victorinox case comes attached to store your trusty Swiss Army Knife. Working towards the back half of the silhouette, multiple plastic overlays come with a trippy pattern that accents the plain black leather heel tab. Landing on the heel tabs are Swiss Army Knife and adidas branding on the left and right, respectively. Rounding out the look is the two-tone white and grey foam midsole that sits atop a rubber outsole.
The Victorinox x adidas EQT Support 93 Swiss Army Knife is scheduled to release in 2022 through adidas and select Three Stripes retailers online and in-store.
