Ye and the Yeezy brand are well known for the boots they produce, releasing many through his Yeezy Season line. adidas took over production of the popular Yeezy Season “Desert Boot” in 2019, lowering the retail price of this utilitarian footwear. Coming in a similar construction to the adidas Yeezy 500, the upper of this boot is made of suede and mesh. The mesh underlays are accented by multiple suede overlays throughout the upper. From mudguard to circular eyelets, thick suede is present. The mesh base continues up towards the tongue and heel, broken up by another circular suede overlay. Sitting between the upper and midsole, a nubuck overlay works it’s way along the side of the silhouette towards the toe box. Working down to the EVA midsole, earth toned rubber sits atop a treaded rubber outsole with adidas branding in the middle.

Confirmed App queue drop for the adidas Yeezy Desert Boot Rock
While most Yeezys hit the confirmed app for a draw, essentially a raffle, some sneakers are released through a queue drop which has recently seen some changes. Similar to a Nike SNKRs LEO, you’ll only have a few minutes to enter the drop before winners are selected. Download the adidas Confirmed app and set up an account with updated billing and shipping information in order to be eligible for the release. The queue drop is set to go down on March 14th at 9AM EST. To participate make sure you open up the Yeezy Desert Boot’s release page on the Confirmed app prior to the drop and try to checkout as quickly as possible in order to secure an entry.

Retailers around the globe have been putting their raffles up through their respective websites, mobile apps or through their brick and mortar locations. END currently has their draw open as well as many EU retailers. For the US, both Social Status and A Ma Maniere will end their raffles at 10AM on March 14. With the release date approaching in 2 days it is recommended to enter as many raffles as you’re eligible for to increase your odds of securing a pair for retail. Aside from the Confirmed App queue drop, you can expect the usual Yeezy Supply release on the morning of March 14th, most likely at 8AM or 9AM. In order to increase your odds of making it through the waiting room it is recommended to open approximately 3-5 browsers as bots are a big problem on Yeezy Supply. Other retailers such as UNDEFEATED and Kith could hold first come, first served releases that morning as well, though they are very difficult to secure a pair through. To increase your odds on first come, first served releases make sure you’re auto fill information on your browser of choice is up to date as well as setting up Apple Pay, ShopPay and or Google Pay.
