One of the most prominent retailers in the sneaker and streetwear space over in Denmark, Wood Wood, is celebrating its 20th Anniversary in 2022, and so far, has not let off the breaks. On top of their inline collections calling back to archival releases in the brand's history and an adidas Forum collaboration, Wood Wood is expanding upon their celebration by getting the call from Reebok to work on the iconic Classic Leather silhouette.
White leather takes over the majority of the collaborative sneaker's upper while an accenting hit of grey suede is found on the perforated toebox. Typical construction is still present with various stitching details adding depth to the simple silhouette while Reebok branding on the midfoot and tongue gets replaced by Wood Wood with “Life” and a graphic of a hand holding an apple getting added respectively. Back on the heel tab, co-branding details come stamped in black with both Reebok and Wood Wood making an appearance. Complimenting the tonally shaded fuzzy sockliner is a red insole that features Wood Wood store on the right pair and Reebok on the left. Underfoot, a white midsole gets paired with a gum rubber outsole.
The Wood Wood x Reebok Classic Leather is set to release on September 15th, 2022 exclusively through Wood Wood online and in-store. Releasing in men’s sizing, the retail price is TBA.
