Zack Bia Teases His Nike Air Max Pulse Collaboration
PublishedPopular nightlife personality and tastemaker Zack Bia is set to join the long list of collaborators working with Nike on special sneaker releases. Tackling the newly introduced Nike Air Max Pulse, Bia takes inspiration from CDJ’s, a tool used by DJs, and its packaging for this stealthy colorway.
Swapping out the typical materials on its upper, Zack Bia brings ripstop nylon, suede, and a shroud to the newest Air Max model. The entire silhouette gets doused in black with hits of metallic silver found on branding details including, co-branded Nike and “ZB” logos and the heel tab reading, “CH1” and “CH2.” More nods to DJing can be found on the black sole with a pause/play button printed near the forefoot. “FTR” branding on the heel references Bia’s “Field Trip Records” label and continues the metallic silver accents. The model features red Swoosh logos on the lateral side’s midfoot and the Air Max 270 bubble in the heel for its final accenting color. Rounding out the design is a silver and black outsole.
The Zack Bia x Nike Air Max Pulse will be released in 2023 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, the retail price is still to be determined.
