Coming off the brand’s most successful year in sales, to $7.8 billion, New Balance is poised to keep this positive energy going in 2025. There are plans for various new silhouettes to hit the market, from the viz-tech-heavy New Balance 2000 to the 70s-inspired New Balance 471. Alongside these two is a new “premium classic” from the brand, the New Balance 2010, which has been previewed in several colorways, such as the upcoming Rich Paul and Kith collabs and inline variants like the Black, Black Ice, and Brown Olive. Adding to this is a new Dockside Indigo rendition.
Like the Brown Olive pair, the new 99X-inspired sneaker has an open-spaced mesh base layer and premium suede overlays. On the base is an aqua-green hue, spanning across the entire length of the upper, while olive-shaded suede panels cover the mudguard, midfoot, and heel overlays. Like classic 99X models, toebox and collar overlays come in a contrasting nubuck finish, and this particular pair chose a dark grey.

More hits of this dark grey appear on the vamp, tongue, lace set, and heel tab. As for branding, the N logo on the midfoot comes in a silver-grey combo, while the 2010 text atop the tongue tag and the NB logo on the heel are featured in indigo. Finishing the sneaker is the grey Abzorb-cushioned foam midsole containing indigo-shaded Abzorb pods in the heel and a black rubber outsole.
The New Balance 2010 Dockside Indigo will release on May 7, 2025, through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $160.
