NBA All-Star Weekend was filled with new product drops and reveals from the footwear industry. Sole Retriever was fortunate enough to be invited by adidas to attend a preview of its upcoming basketball products, which included new models for Damian Lillard and Donovan Mitchell. However, Harden, who just launched his new Harden Vol. 9, used this time to preview an upcoming colorway of the latest model dubbed Dynamo.
Unlike the Red Metallic colorway of the Harden Vol. 9, this Dynamo colorway features a monochromatic solar orange resembling a reddish-orange hue depending on the light. This coats the shiny leather paneling on the upper, wrapping around from the toe back to the heel to reinforce the mesh base and creating the Three Stripe branding along the midfoot. More of this solar red shade covers the internal bootie, the lace set, and the heel overlay, the latter taking on a faux carbon fiber look and featuring Harden’s logo.

Inside, adidas doesn’t hold back with the cushioning tech as they combine Lightstrike and Lightboost to create a dual-density feel perfect for four quarters of play. This is encased within the grooved rubber outsole, which contains a grippy traction pattern alongside circular pivot points near the toe.
The adidas Harden Vol. 9 Dynamo will release on July 26, 2025, through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $160.
