Performance runners have always found their way into the lifestyle realm, especially regarding adidas silhouettes. The brand recently launched a takedown version of the adidas Adizero Adios Pro Evo 1, a $500 super shoe 40% lighter than any of its predecessors, with the Adizero Evo SL. Colorways that hit adidas’ website continue to sell out, which will likely be the case with the upcoming Silver Metallic rendition.
The lightweight and synthetic textile upper is coated in iron and silver metallic shades, spanning the entire upper. Reinforcements come in the form of the metallic silver Three Stripes on the midfoot, extending down onto portions of the midsole below. Contrasting this iron and silver silhouette are pops of volt green on the Adizero Evo SL logo on the heel and insole, though the rest of the branding features, like the Adizero text on the tongue and Three Stripes on the heel, come in a tonal silver hue.

Final details on the upper include a tonal neoprene tongue and tonal grey laces. Down below, the sole unit takes direct inspiration from the Adios Pro Evo 1 with its molded and contoured design, seen in a silver metallic finish. As for cushioning, the entire length of the sole unit contains Lightstrike Pro, while the outsole features two different kinds of rubber: Continental Rubber in the forefoot and CL Rubber in the heel.
The adidas Adizero Evo SL Silver Metallic will release on March 20, 2025, through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $150.
