adidas is dedicating another pair of Sambas to soccer superstar Lionel Messi. The Argentinian is fresh off celebrating being named the MVP of the MLS after an incredible season with Inter Miami. After launching several pairs in 2024, an all-new Cream White Light Brown pair will start the new year.
Smooth cream white leather dominates the upper of this adidas Samba Messi, offering a clean and timeless aesthetic. This soft leather provides a premium look and feel while being versatile in any wardrobe. The hues of cream white extend to the tongue for a neutral vibe.

A light brown nubuck accent is featured at the heel, subtly contrasting the upper. The same light brown is used for the Three Stripes branding along the midfoot, seamlessly tying the color palette together. This thoughtful use of color adds warmth and elegance to the sneaker.
Highlighting the classic T-style toebox, the use of nubuck introduces subtle texture and depth. This material choice pays homage to the traditional Samba design, adding a modern, luxurious touch. The combination of textures sets the pair apart, blending classic elements with contemporary updates.

One of the updates is the tongue, as the traditional style is swapped out for a ribbed version. Messi's signature logo is prominently displayed on a tongue panel, adding a personalized and distinctive element to the sneakers. Additionally, the logo is debossed on the lateral heel, further embedding his influence into the design. The iconic and understated logo reflects Messi's humble yet legendary persona.
Parallel to the stripes, Messi is denoted in gold foil, replacing the usual Samba branding. The EQT logo sits on the insoles that line the footbeds. Underfoot, the creamy rubber sole provides increased traction and grip.
The adidas Samba Messi Cream White Light Brown is set to release in February 2025. They will be available via adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, retail is $100.
