Japanese-based retailer atmos opened its doors in 2000, and 25 years later, they’re one of the most prominent sneaker boutiques in all of Asia, with nearly 50 locations across the region. In celebration of its 25th birthday in 2025, atmos will be partnering with multiple partners, including New Balance on the 740 and 1000 and adidas on the ZX8000 G-SNK 10 Pack and Taekwondo, but have now just teased a new three-way collaboration. Posted by Hirofumi Kojima, atmos’ Creative Director, the retailer will partner with BAPE and adidas on a glow-in-the-dark-laden Superstar.
No stranger to glow-in-the-dark details, atmos has launched multiple different sneakers with this finish, including an Asics Gel-Kayano 14, the ZX8000 G-SNK 9, and many more. This Superstar opts for a snakeskin graphic on its GITD panels, which are located on the Three Stripes of the left sneaker, the BAPE star on the right pair, and the heel overlay. Though the first look only showcased the GITD aspect of the model, the rest of the upper comes coated in a black finish and contains Superstar and A Bathing Ape logos on the midfoot.

Logos for atmos are found on the insole and on the golden lace dubrae of the left shoe. Final details include a tri-branded insole, all-over ABC camo embossed into the leather upper, and a tonal rubber midsole.
The atmos x BAPE x adidas Superstar will release in April 2025 through atmoscon, which takes place on April 19 and April 20. As of this writing, the retail price has yet to be announced.
