Kyrie Irving has called Dallas home since he was traded to the Mavericks in February 2023. Since then, the superstar has become an integral part of the franchise. Kyrie has crafted an ANTA Kai 2 colorway themed after the Mavs to honor his growing bond with Dallas.
The Mavericks’ blue and white color palette is on full display as the canvas base layer is coated in a white hue, allowing the pops of blue, black, and gold to shine. Blue and black piping runs along the edge of the black tongue, lace set, and eyelets, while we this duo alongside gold details on the edge of the tongue tag and the heel tab. Kyrie’s logo is front and center on the tongue tag in white, while the ANTA logo on the midfoot takes on an abstract design constructed from blue, black, and gold textiles.

Outside of the nods to the NBA franchise, the city of Dallas is honored on the insole with a spiral pattern that pays homage to Thanksgiving Square. Down below, the sneaker comes with a blue gradient midsole that transitions from a deep royal blue on the heel into white as you move up to the toe. The black and white outsole finishes the design that encapsulates the full-palm Nitrogen cushioning.
The ANTA Kai 2 Dallas will release on April 19, 2025, through ANTA and select retailers, including Sneaker Politics, Extra Butter, Nice Kicks, Sneaker Room, Feature, Social Status, Shoe Palace, Hibbett, and DTLR. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $125. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
