Jordan Brand loves to rework classic designs through a more contemporary lens, as evidenced by pairs like the Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT and Jordan 4 RM. The latter acts as more of a takedown rather than an upgrade. This same mentality is being applied to the Air Jordan 7, which is being reimagined into a low-top sneaker on the Air Jordan MVP 92, seen here in Black Wolf Grey.
We’ve got to start by addressing the model's name. The first reports were correct in calling the sneaker the Air Jordan 7 RM, but Jordan Brand changed the name to the Jordan MVP 92. With this out of the way, we can delve into the silhouette's design. Classic motifs from the AJ 7 are present here, such as the perforated panels near the lateral toe, the shape of the overlays, and the heel area. However, some updates have been added.

The midfoot panel now features mesh, while the tongue and internal construction forgo the bootie-like glove fit of the original AJ 7. Jumpman branding is present in a contrasting wolf grey hue on the tongue tag and collar. On the heel, Nike Air logos are rendered in grey and sit atop a black TPU panel shaped similarly to the one found on the Jordan 7. Finishing the sneaker is the black and grey Jordan 7 sole unit.
The Air Jordan MVP 92 Black Wolf Grey will release in Fall 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $140.
