Whether it be in the classic 85 shape, standard new-age construction, or more experimental builds like the Disrupt 2 variant, it seems the bread and butter releases for Nike are still their Dunk silhouette. The latter of the three, however, has recently appeared in a neutral-toned "Pale Ivory Light Madder Root" combo.
Unlike most Nike Dunk Low Disrupt 2 colorways, the upper on this pair is dressed in a combo of canvas and soft suede, taking on the aforementioned cream hues alongside accenting pastel-like shades. Around the mudguard, double eyestays, and double heel overlays sit the soft suede in sail, while the canvas underlays take on a more true white. Branding details get a redesign as well with an embroidered mini-Swoosh coming in light madder root on the lateral side while the stitched outline of a larger Swoosh appears in a blue shade, though the medial side forgoes the mini-Swoosh. Atop the tongue, this same madder root hue is featured on the “Nike Dunk” embroidery that is off-center from the tongue tag. Underfoot, the partially recycled Dunk midsole and outsole combo get covered in pale ivory.
The Nike Dunk Low Disrupt 2 Pale Ivory Light Madder Root W is set to release on September 1st, 2022 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $110.
