Many carry the opinion that Nike is running the Dunk Low silhouette into the ground as we continue to receive shockingly similar colorways over and over again. A prime example that gives credence to that thought is the various iterations of “Panda” colorways like the “White Black Red” that adds varsity red accents to the infamous sneaker, however, The Swoosh is reversing the color scheme with their latest release.
Flipping the script of a typical “Panda” Dunk, the all-leather sneaker takes on white overlays across its mudguard, eyestays, and heel while the toebox, quarter panel, and collar take on a dark black shade. Stark whites continue onto the tongue with black laces and a “Nike” tag in this same shade popping off the nylon, however, as we look towards the midfoot you notice the Swoosh branding comes in varsity red as opposed to matching the rest of the overlays. This shade continues back onto the heel tab that hosts more “Nike” branding in a black thread. Rounding out the look is the white Dunk midsole paired with a varsity red rubber outsole.
The Nike Dunk Low Reverse White Black Red is set to release in 2023 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Releasing in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $110.
