Ja Morant isn’t too far off from the unveiling and release of his next signature sneaker with Nike, the Nike Ja 3, but there are a few more planned releases for the Ja 2 ahead of this. The plans for the final Nike Ja 2 colors include a collaboration with Kool-Aid, which was already revealed earlier in the year. The mismatched Mixed Berry colorway will precede another rendition of the Ja 2 made with Kool-Aid, this one being Tropical Punch.
Like the Kool-Aid Man and Kool-Aid’s Tropical Punch flavor, the pair comes in a vibrant red hue. A slight gradient pattern is placed near the heel, starting in pink and transitioning into the bright tropical punch red on the midfoot and toe. As for construction, we see molded synthetic material featuring a cracked wall graphic, a nod to the Kool-Aid Man’s famous entrance, on the lateral side, while mesh is featured on the medial.

The Kool-Aid Man is on the tongue tag, while the inside features his catchphrase, “Ohhh Yeah!” Completing the upper are the water droplets covering the mudguard, eyelets, and heel, and Morant’s 12:AM logo on the heel tab. Below sits a gradient foam midsole in pink and red and an icy blue rubber outsole.
The Kool-Aid x Nike Ja 2 Tropical Punch will release on July 1, 2025, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in full-family sizing, the retail price is set at $130 (men), $105 (GS), and $90 (PS).
