Ja Morant may not have made the cut as an NBA All-Star for the 2024-2025 season, but his signature sneaker will be present throughout the festivities in San Francisco. Not only will this be true via the sneaker choices of athletes attending and participating in events, but also through multiple releases of his Nike Ja 2. On top of the ultra-limited 1-of-1999 Swarovski x Nike Ja 2, a more accessible (and affordable) version is dropping.
Dubbed Scratch Bling, the pair has appeared online for months as many assumed this was the only version of the sneaker dropping. Now that official images of the $550 version have emerged, we can see why the retail here is set at $150, as the upper features Swarovski crystals on the scratch design on the midfoot, the Ja logo on the tongue, and the medial Swoosh. Outside of the mini Swoosh on the midsole and the 12:AM text on the heel, the rest of the upper takes on a black finish, coating the suede and mesh panels.
Nods to the Nike Black Label collection are found on the left shoe's insole, coated in a metallic silver finish to mimic the Swarovski crystals on the upper. The same design is applied to the Ja logo on the insole of the right shoe, tying together the luxury theme. The blacked-out midsole and outsole are finishing the design, the latter hosting a blue 12 logo.
The Swarovski x Nike Ja 2 Scratch Bling was released on February 14, 2025, and is available now through Nike SNKRS and online. In men’s sizing, the retail price is $150.
