Since “relaunching” the Nike Kobe line in late 2023, Nike has increased the output of Kobe releases in terms of colorways offered and stock numbers for the pairs. For 2025, the Kobe 9 Protro will be a focal point as we’re expecting a few different releases from the silhouette in its EM and Elite variants. After the EM Low Team Bank Pack and the Moonwalker pairs hit shelves in Fall 2025, Holiday 2025 will feature a new (albeit familiar) take on the Kobe 9 Elite Low Protro.
While the Perspective colorway has been seen before on the Kobe 9, it was only released on the high-top Kobe 9 Elite in 2014 and has not been seen on either the high or low-top versions since. The same neo turquoise and volt color scheme will be applied here, as most of the base comes coated in the turquoise hue. Pops of volt green appear on the Swoosh, nylon lace loops, tongue lining, and Kobe logos atop the tongue.

A multi-color fused TPU panel lines the heel, combining turquoise, black, and volt green that starkly contrasts the solid black hits of the sockliner and the carbon fiber-laden midsole. The tonal midsole and outsole finish the design, featuring a full-length React foam drop-in midsole instead of the original Kobe 9’s Lunarlon foam.
The Nike Kobe 9 Elite Low Protro Perspective will release in Holiday 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $210.
