After a retro run in 2017 and 2018, Nike finally brought the Air Zoom Spiridon from the vault with a reissue of the original Metallic Silver Sport Red colorway in December 2024. Alongside this OG coming back, Nike has plans to bring us other colorways from the sneaker’s 1997 run, including the recently revealed Concord colorway. On top of this, and the Cult Classic releases of the Signal Blue and Metallic Silver Signal Blue, the Deep Royal Blue Yellow Strike pair is also slated to return.
The same lightweight construction from the OG will be present on this 2025 reissue, as we see a white open-spaced mesh placed across most of the upper. Separating this from the deep royal blue synthetic panel that runs the entire length of the upper is a 3M leather stripe, which itself runs below the metallic Swoosh on the midfoot. Here, the logo is outlined in a contrasting yellow strike shade, extending the color onto the nylon lace loops and heel’s pull tab.

More white lands on the lace set and tongue, while the collar and sockliner opt for white and deep royal blue, respectively. Down below, the molded Spiridon foam midsole comes in white with a glitter finish applied and comes paired with a black and deep royal blue rubber outsole. Adding to the cushioning are the Zoom Air units that are embedded into the black rubber portions of the outsole.
The Nike Air Zoom Spiridon OG Deep Royal Blue Yellow Strike will release in Summer 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $160. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
