Kylian Mbappé’s PE cleat collection with Nike continues to expand. The PSG superstar has been rocking Swoosh PEs for nearly a decade, and his latest releases pay homage to various exclusive cleats he’s worn. In addition to the Nike Mercurial Zoom Vapor 16 Grand Purple, the duo has crafted a Nike Mercurial Superfly 10 Elite with the same color scheme and design motifs.
Retaining the performance-oriented construction the Mercurial Superfly 10 Elite is known for, the cleat comes with a Flyknit and Gripknit upper for a snug fit and an exceptional touch on the ball when dribbling. A Dynamic Fit collar wraps around the ankle for extra lockdown, while the sole unit below comes with Air Zoom cushioning and cleated spikes in the forefoot and heel. As for its color scheme and design inspiration, the pair borrows the same details found on the aforementioned Zoom Vapor 16 and adds various features from Mbappé’s previous PEs.
This includes the heel graphic from the 2018 “Rising Fire” cleat, the lateral Swoosh’s nod to Kylian’s hometown and “Bondy Dreams” PE from 2019, the lightning bolt Swoosh on the medial side with monogram print borrowed from his 2020 “Rosa” cleat, and finally, the flame graphic is derived from the 2021 “Flames” PE. Finishing the design are the two stars on the tongue, celebrating France’s two World Cup victories, and an inspirational quote from Kylian on the insole.
The Kylian Mbappé x Nike Mercurial Superfly 10 Elite Grand Purple will release on April 24, 2025, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store.
