With the FIFA World Cup one year out and the FIFA Club World Cup coming up in 2025, fashion and sportswear brands are beginning to lean into the world of football (or soccer if you’re American). Nike has revived a sneaker that became a legend on and off the pitch when it was released in 2004—the Nike Total 90 III. Previously teased during Nike’s SNKRS Showcase, the pair will officially return in March 2025.
Featuring the original upper from 2004, this Metallic Silver colorway of the Total 90 III coats the entire silhouette in a single shade of silver leather, contrasted by black and red hits throughout. A jeweled Swoosh on the midfoot takes on a black finish, while the Total 90 III text on the heel is split between black and red. Of course, the star of the show is the large circular panel on the medial side containing “90” branding, covered here in a mix of red and white.

Other OG details remain, like the embroidered toebox, asymmetrical lacing setup, and Total 90 III branding on the tongue tag. Down below, the silhouette is updated with an off-the-pitch setup that includes a white foam midsole and a rubber outsole with traction for the streets, not grass.
The Nike Total 90 III Metallic Silver Black will release on March 1, 2025, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $110.
