Twenty years in the retail space is something to be proud of, and Japanese-based label atmos is making sure to celebrate this achievement. 2025 marks their 20th birthday, and collaborations have been lined up left and right with major brands like New Balance, adidas, Puma, and Asics. Joining the array of projects releasing at atmoscon 2025, which includes the New Balance 1000 Bāṅdhnū, On Cloudmonster Void Yozakura, and a three-way collab with ONE PIECE and Crocs on the Classic Clog, is a Puma collaboration on the Speedcat silhouette.
The Speedcat has gained traction across fashion circles as low-to-the-ground models with slim sole units have become trendy. With this in mind, atmos Pink, the retailer’s women's label, applies a washed pink suede to the once-performance-racing model. This coats the T-toe overlay, midfoot panel, heel, and tongue, while we see cream shades on the Puma logos near the toe, tongue, and the one above the tonal Formstrip.
Detailed images make it appear that the upper has a wearaway feature that reveals metallic silver over time. Tonal pink hits land on the lace set and sockliner, while co-branded logos for atmos Pink and Puma are on the insole. Finishing the design is the semi-translucent grey rubber outsole that features a pink Puma logo on the midfoot.
The atmos Pink x Puma Speedcat will release on April 19, 2025, exclusively at atmoscon in Japan. As of this writing, retail pricing for this women’s exclusive release has not been announced.
