Fear of God Essentials, officially launched by Lorenzo in 2018, is a sister brand designed to offer more accessible and affordable apparel while retaining the Fear of God aesthetic. The journey to Essentials began in 2015 with a collaboration with PacSun to create F.O.G., a more affordable diffusion line that maintained the Fear of God aesthetic. This line evolved into Fear of God Essentials, focusing on high-quality casual apparel often categorized as loungewear. Essentials is characterized by its high-quality apparel pieces with minimal branding in muted or earth tone colors, offering a balance of luxury aesthetics and relaxed, boxy fits at more accessible prices. Unlike the luxury-focused Fear of God, Essentials is not considered a luxury brand but is part of the Fear of God family, which includes Fear of God Athletics, a collaboration with adidas. The Essentials line includes popular items like sweatshirts and sweatpants, and has expanded its offerings to include knitwear, denim, accessories, and seasonal assortments for women and children.
