Fear of God Athletics is finally receiving consistent releases with Jerry Lorenzo and adidas' partnership, producing multiple colorways on different silhouettes. For this next drop slated for April, we're getting a handful of colorways on the Fear of God Athletics 1 model, revealed in an Indiana University, Miami Hurricanes, and a Clay Miami Green rendition. Joining these collegiate-themed colorways is a Desert Yellow Indiana Red. Alongside the 1 model, FOG and adidas have prepped a new colorway of the Los Angeles Runner and are introducing the ‘86 Hi model.
This particular iteration of the Fear of God Athletics 1 draws inspiration from Indiana University but puts a twist on the standard colorway. Featuring a desert yellow engineered mesh and no-sew TPU upper, Indiana University's signature red makes its way to the toebox overlay. This contrast honors the university and adds a vibrant pop to the sneaker's otherwise monochrome palette.
The adidas Three Stripes branding on the midfoot, inspired by the Predator soccer cleat, and the redesigned lace lock featuring Lorenzo's take on the iconic logo, combine elements of sport and fashion seamlessly. Underneath, the sneaker boasts a chunky rubber sole in cream, encapsulating adidas' Lightstrike cushioning for optimal comfort and performance. This cushioning is topped off with Fear of God branding on the heel.
The adidas Fear of God 1 Desert Yellow Indiana Red will release on April 3, 2024, exclusively through Fear of God online. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $250.
