Jordan Brand has continually redefined its classic silhouettes, bringing fresh and innovative designs to its iconic models. Among these, the Air Jordan 1 is a timeless favorite, consistently receiving exciting new renditions. Following recent releases of the Jordan 1 Brooklyn Boot in colorways like Triple White, Coconut Milk Pine Green, Legend Medium Brown, and Black, a new punk-inspired variant is set to hit the shelves this fall. This latest iteration, the Air Jordan 1 Brooklyn Global Purple, features a similar concept to the Jordan 1 Low SE Cement Grey Field Purple.
The Air Jordan 1 Brooklyn Global Purple showcases an all-black upper with a wearaway layer that reveals a striking purple hue underneath. This dynamic design element gives the sneaker a fresh and evolving look over time. Adding to its punk-inspired aesthetic, the sneaker features metallic hardware, including buttons that convert the high-top silhouette into a knee-high cut, providing versatility and a statement-making style.
The ankle strap, embellished with No Gravity, pays homage to Michael Jordan's legendary leaping ability. Other branding details include the punk-inspired AIR text on the left boot and the Jumpman logo on the right, each in a metallic purple hue. The overall look is completed with a chunky rubber midsole and outsole, ensuring durability and comfort.
The Air Jordan 1 Brooklyn Global Purple W will release in Fall 2024 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store, likely exclusive to the Asia market. Coming in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $165. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
