When the Air Jordan 1 first debuted in 1985 the silhouette pushed the boundaries of comfort and durability for use on the hardwood floor. Obviously, as time has moved forward so has the technology within the footwear industry, as seen on the Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT. The classic AJ 1 gets a makeover for today’s standards.
On the upper, slight changes are made compared to your standard Air Jordan 1 High with the profile side swoosh getting a cutout look while the ankle collar exposes the flexible foam. Aside from the leather being swapped for a very faint Venice suede, the rest of the details remain, as seen on the perforated toebox and various overlays. The tongue tag up top denotes the Zoom Air cushioning felt underfoot, encapsulated by a sail midsole and rubber outsole that matches the suede color palette above.
The Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT Venice W is set to release in 2022 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store.
