Jordan Brand has seen the demand for Air Jordan 1s and is fulfilling it with the polarizing Air Jordan 1 Mid. The cousin to the acclaimed high-top silhouette and surprisingly Michael Jordan's preferred cut of sneaker, the Jordan 1 Mid has become more and more mainstream thanks to a slew of colorways that mimic some of the Air Jordan 1 High's most sought after releases. Official images have recently emerged of an upcoming women's exclusive colorway, the Air Jordan 1 Mid “Berry Pink."
Coming in classic two-tone color blocking, the entire upper comes dressed in a mix of suede and leather on the overlays and underlays respectively. Around the white perforated toebox the Berry Pink suede mudguard wraps around to meet the bottom of the eyelets. Running up the suede eyelets is a set of black flat laces, working up to the Jumpman branded tongue tag. The midfoot panel in white leather provides a base for the black suede Nike Swoosh to sit, sandwiched between the Berry Pink suede heel overlays on the back. The iconic Air Jordan Wings logo makes its way onto the usual overlay near the black nubuck collar. Rounding out the look is a white midsole and Berry Pink rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 1 Mid Berry Pink W is scheduled to release in 2022 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in women's sizing exclusively, the pair will retail for $120.
