When first images leaked for the Air Jordan 13 Retro “Altitude Green” in late 2004/early 2005, sneakerheads couldn’t wait to try to get their hands on a pair. Release info was very scarce at the time and this pair was confirmed to be limited. Appearing in the long defunct Jordan magazine on the feet of JB athlete Terrell Owens, they dropped in February ‘05 during the AJ 13s initial run. After two re-releases, the “hype” for the Air Jordan 13 Retro “Altitude Green” has died down quite a bit, even though it was originally touted as one of the best non-OG colorways out there.
In 2022, Jordan Brand is bringing back the “Black Altitude” color scheme, only this time on the Air Jordan 1 Mid. Reimagining the black and green color combo on the classic AJ 1, this pair features traditional colorblocking along with a full leather upper. Altitude Green overlays are paired with black underlays, highlighting the green as the prominent color on this pair. An aged, sail-colored midsole sits atop an altitude green solid rubber outsole to complete the look.
The Air Jordan 1 Mid Black Altitude Green W is set to release in Holiday 2022. It will drop at Nike, via the SNKRS app, and at select retailers worldwide, both in-store and online. Coming in women’s sizing, retail is set at $125.
