Ever since he graced his first Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG collab in 2019, earth-toned themes have been in constant popularity. This even resonates with Ye’s design language over at Yeezy. With a release date finally confirmed for the TS x AJ 1 Low OG “Reverse Mocha,” another brown-based Air Jordan 1 has surfaced.
Dubbed the “Brown Toe” edition, this Air Jordan 1 Mid features a classic “Escape” style color scheme, complete with traditional colorblocking. Instead of leather, the upper is predominantly covered in a canvas-like material. Chocolate brown can be seen on the toebox, tongue, back heel, and ankle. The rest of the sneaker is covered in black, including an embroidered Swoosh on the sides. Breaking up the dark colors are white side panels, and a classic AJ1 style midsole.
The Air Jordan 1 Mid Brown Toe is set to release in 2022. It will drop at Nike as well as select retailers worldwide, both in-store and online. Coming in men’s sizes, retail is set at $125.
