From a graphic depicting Jordan jamming out to the music on his walkman to a photo taken from a 1990 Nike campaign poster, the hologram is the whole story of this black and white Air Jordan 1 Mid.
Black leather overlays sit atop white leather underlays for most of this sneaker. The white ankle collar is met by the inner liner, as the white tongue is held down by black laces. The black tongue tag features a concord purple Jumpman logo hit and “Air” in three different colors, which matches some of the designs and patterns depicted on the hologram. Speaking of the hologram, the quarter panel features a hologram graphic depicting two images.
One image is taken from an old Nike campaign poster, flipping the Mars Blackmon “Do You Know” into poster form with Michael Jordan depicted “...producing a low altitude earth orbit” with his leaping ability. The second image is a cartoon depiction of MJ in his Bulls warm-up tracksuit and sunglasses, jamming to his walkman cassette player, with 90’s style graphics in the background, and the Nike Swoosh logo placed where it usually is. This hologram is only featured on the lateral side of the sneaker, with the medial side being white leather with a black Swoosh running through the quarter panel. A simple white midsole and black outsole complete the colorway.
