Highs, Mids, Lows, people still debate the hierarchy for the Air Jordan 1. It’s a love/hate relationship for most sneakerheads although it seems like some of the hate has subsided over the years. If you see an Air Jordan 1 Mid in a fresh colorway, do you pass because it's a Mid or, do you cop because you like it? A tale as old as time.
One specific Air Jordan 1 Mid coming in the near future that raises the aforementioned question is the “Inside Out” edition. Coming in a clean white, neutral grey and sail colorway, these Mid’s throw out the blueprint to the original AJ 1 and remake it. Various leathers, nylons and suedes cover the upper with a toebox overlay, exposed foam collar and lining and suede underlay wrapping around the back heel. A Wings logo adorns the added suede back heel tab that is usually found on the Air Jordan 1 Low. The original logo for Air Jordan is also missing from its traditional spot on the ankle. An aged midsole and grey outsole finish things off for this Air Jordan 1 Mid.
The Air Jordan 1 Mid Inside Out is set to release in August 2022. It will drop at Nike as well as select Jordan Brand retailers in-store and online. Available in men’s sizing, retail is set at $135.
