Jordan 1 Mids are often looked at as the “black sheep” of the AJ 1 family as it's not heralded in the same regard as the legendary high-top cut and doesn’t carry the same clean look as the low-top. Even still, its closeness to the high-top cut and colorways that often take on a similar appearance to iconic AJ 1 colorways has made the model a hit with the general public. Continuing to pump out new iterations of the AJ 1 Mid, Jordan Brand is giving the kids an exclusive colorway for the summertime that takes on a “Medium Soft Pink Fierce Pink” color scheme.
Constructed out of leather across its upper, the sneaker takes on shades of fierce pink on its various overlays, found on mudguard, eyestays, and heel, while lighter pinks and whites accent throughout. On the toebox and collar portions, we see a medium soft pink take over that matches the Nike Swoosh and Jordan Wings branding while one of our only hits of white on the upper lands on the quarter panel. Tonal pink laces match the Jumpman branding embroidered atop the white tongue and the sockliner. Rounding out the design is the fierce pink insole, white AJ 1 midsole, and medium soft pink rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 1 Mid Medium Soft Pink Fierce Pink GS is set to release in July 2023 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in GS, PS, and TD sizing, the retail price is set at $110 (GS), $75 (PS), and $65 (TD).
