Though the Air Jordan 1 Mid may be considered the “black sheep” of the AJ1 family, Jordan Brand continues to dress the model in various color schemes. The silhouette will arrive in a new women's-exclusive colorway — “Pure Platinum Sky J Mauve” — following on the heels of other Sky J Mauve-hued Air Jordan 1s, including an AJ1 High.
This latest iteration of the Jordan 1 Mid features a striking two-tone color scheme. The Sky J Mauve hues act as the statement color, painting the mudguard, eyestays, heel overlay, and collar. Pure platinum leather forms the base layer, covering the toebox, quarter panel, and collar for a balanced aesthetic. Further hits of mauve can be found on the lace set, sockliner, Swoosh, and tongue tag. Contrasting the vibrant shade, a pure platinum Jumpman and Jordan Wings logo stands out boldly. A sail midsole and a mauve outsole round off the design.
The Air Jordan 1 Mid Pure Platinum Sky J Mauve W will release October 2023 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Available in women's sizing, the retail price is set at $125.
