The Air Jordan 1 hype has again come and gone, at least for the "OG" versions. While pairs like the "UNC Toe" and upcoming "Palomino" serve as must-haves, most AJ 1 launches in 2023 have sat on shelves, sometimes months after their release date. While most sneakerheads continue to hate the Air Jordan 1 Mid, it continues to drive positive sales for Jordan Brand across all markets. This is mainly because it releases in new colorways monthly for men, women, and children. Next up, a women's exclusive Air Jordan 1 Mid in "Sail Desert."
With Travis Scott's influence still on everyone's mind, his earth tone palette continues to dominate across all types of sneakers, including the Air Jordan 1 Mid "Sail Desert." The all-leather upper is dressed in Chicago-style colorblocking. Sail underlays pair nicely with desert overlays, with more sail seen via the Jumpman branding on the tongue tag and insoles and the Wings logo on the ankle. A black Swoosh on the sides helps to break up the muted design, which continues onto the aged midsole and desert-colored solid rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 1 Mid Sail Desert W is set to release in Holiday 2023. They will be available via Nike, SNKRS, and select NSW retailers. Coming in women's sizing, retail is set at $125.
