Over the years, the Air Jordan 1 Mid has grown out of the shadow of its high-top counterpart, establishing itself as a versatile sneaker. Even with many scoffing at it for its non-OG status, we still see Jordan Brand give us new renditions. Now, a new women’s exclusive colorway is headed our way with the Air Jordan 1 Mid SE Black Chrome.
This iteration of the AJ1 Mid arrives in a harmonious blend of black, silver, and chrome. The sneaker features black leather overlays with a subtle sheen reminiscent of patent leather on the mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlays. This glossy effect contrasts wonderfully with the tumbled leather on the toe box, quarter panel, and collar. Black laces and a silver tongue further the two-tone scheme, as does the metallic chrome finish gracing the Swoosh on the midfoot and the iconic Wings logo on the collar. Underneath, a sail midsole and black outsole round out the design.
The Air Jordan 1 Mid SE Black Chrome W will release in October through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Available in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $135.
