While elephant print earned its fame on the AJ3, the design has crept its way onto multiple Jordan silhouettes, including the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Low “True Blue.” Now the iconic print is heading onto an Air Jordan 1 Mid.
The colorway takes cues from the the AJ 1 High Shadow, dressed in black suede across the base layer and shades of grey and white making up the various overlays. On the mudguard and bottom-most eyelet, the grey leather is embossed with elephant print while the heel overlays come in a plain grey tumbled leather. Running along the profile is the Nike Swoosh, piercing off the black suede surrounding it. More branding is found atop the tongue with its red Jumpman and along the collar thanks to the Jordan Wings logo. The interior houses a red insole with black Jumpman branding, accented by the white mesh sockliner. Rounding out the look is the white midsole and grey outsole combo.
The Air Jordan 1 Mid SE Elephant Print is set to release in August 2022 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store.
