Michael Jordan's mid-top flagship is getting a whole lotta love this season. After checking out the "Alternate Bred," "Lucky Green," and of course, the "Panda" over the past few weeks, we're now taking our very first look at the freshly-announced Air Jordan 1 Mid SE "Sky J Purple." A colorway that looks like it has been pulled straight out of the Jumpman archives, if you're a fan of vintage-styled kicks then you definitely do not want to miss out on this retro release.
Working on top of a barely grape leather construction, one of the first things that you'll notice about this Air Jordan 1 Mid are the cutouts across the sidewalls which proudly showcase the canvas purple Swoosh. This hardwearing textile extends towards the ankle and collar, while additional leather paneling adorns the rest of the sneaker for a look that's sure to turn heads. A dash of guava ice hits the nylon tongue, and of course, you can't talk about this shoe without mentioning the creamy Nike Air midsole underfoot which offers a seriously old school aesthetic that we can't help but adore.
Releasing sometime in Fall 2023, the Air Jordan 1 Mid SE Sky J Purple W will be available exclusively in women's sizes at Nike, the SNKRS app, and select Jordan retailers for $135.
