While most kids these days have never seen the greatest basketball player of all time lace up a shoe, Jordan Brand continues to show the next generation love with exclusive colorways of classic Air Jordan models such as the AJ 1 Mid. Next in the "Sneaker School" series is the Air Jordan 1 Mid Championships.
The Air Jordan 1 Mid SS Championships comes in a unique, mismatched, multi-color design. The right shoe represents the colors of the first three teams Jordan and the Chicago Bulls beat in the finals from 1991-1993: the Los Angeles Lakers, Portland Trail Blazers, and the Phoenix Suns. Its left-shoe counterpart represents the colors of the defeated teams of the Bull's second three-peat from 1996-1998: the Seattle Supersonics and the Utah Jazz. The years of each three-peat are shown down the middle of each tongue. A multi-colored, mismatched, marbled solid rubber outsole finishes things off for this AJ 1 Mid.
The Air Jordan 1 Mid SS Championships GS will release November 26, 2023, at Nike, the SNKRS app, and select retailers in-store and online. Coming in kids sizing, retail is set at $120, $80, and $65, respectively. Keep it locked to our Twitter and the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
