One of the more looked down upon releases in the Air Jordan lineup, the Air Jordan 1 Mid often becomes a canvas for Jordan Brand to be a little more creative - especially for their kids exclusive iterations. Prime examples of this include the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Mid SS “Skyline” (GS) that brings to life the iconic advertisement of MJ soaring to the basket over the Chicago skyline, however, Jordan Brand isn’t done giving the kids creative colorways on the silhouette. Now, a multi-color elephant print takes over the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Mid SS "Two Headed Monster."
Taking on white as the primary shade on the leather upper, golden accents and multi-color hits comprised of university red, blue lightning, and wolf grey are seen throughout this Jordan 1 Mid. Blue panels appear on the mudguard and tongue lining with the former of the two housing a golden elephant print pattern while this same design makes its way to the heel overlay’s red leather. More prominent gold hits appear on the Swoosh branding, collar, and logos on the collar and tongue while they all come accented by stark white hits on the various panels. A red sockliner with a matching insole gets its monochromatic look broken up by a blue Jumpman graphic on the foam insert. Underfoot, the white AJ 1 midsole comes accented by a semi-translucent rubber outsole in a gradient pattern, transitioning from red to blue as you go from heel to toe.
The Air Jordan 1 Mid SS Two Headed Monster GS is set to release on August 11, 2023 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in grade school, pre-school, and toddler sizing, the retail prices are set at $120, $80, and $65 respectively.
