The sneaker game is an ever-evolving tapestry that changes everyday. After checking out the "Black Light Steel Grey," "Muslin Canvas," and "Taupe Haze" earlier this month, we're now taking our very first look at the Air Jordan 1 Mid "University Blue Black." One of the latest colorways to hit Michael Jordan's mid-top flagship, if you've always wanted a Jordan that the whole family can flex, this might just be the answer to all of your problems.
Bearing a striking resemblance to the "Dark Marina Blue" which launched earlier in 2022, if you're a fan of the colorway but need something a little more versatile then this Air Jordan 1 has your name written all over it. Boasting a full leather construction that's smooth and sleek to the touch, it works on top of a slick black base and is contrasted by university blue overlays throughout. The iconic Jumpman adorns the tongue tag while the legendary winged basketball emblem is finely debossed on the collar flap. All of this sits on top of a clean white Air midsole, and it's signed off with a Nike Swoosh that shoots past the laterals and medials in style.
The Air Jordan 1 Mid University Blue Black is set to release in August 2023. It will be available in men's, gradeschool, pre-school, and toddler sizes for $125, $110, $75, and $60, respectively. Expected to drop at Nike, the SNKRS app, and select Jordan Brand retailers, check out our Jordan release calendar, and keep it locked to our Twitter and the Mobile App. If you're looking for a more in-depth breakdown of the Air Jordan 1 and upcoming releases, take a look at our Air Jordan 1 Buyers Guide and our Air Jordan 1 Release Dates Page too.
