Although the Air Jordan family contains a High, Mid, and Low cut variant, the Mid is often regarded as the black sheep of the lineup. Sneakerheads have hotly debated the validity of this version considering it was introduced nearly 20 years after the original release of the silhouette. Even still, the Air Jordan 1 Mid remains popular amongst the average consumer, and plenty of sneakerheads look for new colorways. Though we have seen plenty of new renditions hit the scene like the "Blueberry" and "White Ice Blue Black," Jordan Brand is restocking a colorway from 2019 this year - the Air Jordan 1 Mid "White Metallic Gold Obsidian"
Like the Air Jordan 1 High “CO.JP” from 2020, the model features tumbled leather in a two-tone obsidian and white combination. Obsidian leather covers the mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlays, while white panels cover the toebox, quarter panel, and collar. More stark whites take over the tongue and lace set with the obsidian tongue tag featuring golden hits of Jumpman branding. Our last hits of visible branding, seen on the collar’s Wings logo and midfoot’s Swoosh, come in white and obsidian, respectively. Rounding out the design is the white AJ 1 midsole paired with an obsidian rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 1 Mid White Metallic Gold Obsidian originally released back in August 2019 with this restock set for sometime 2023 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Releasing in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $125.
