Jordan Brand has huge plans for the Air Jordan 1 silhouette - both in its high and low top forms. Heavy hitters have already released, like ‘85 “Black White” and the retro of the “Celtics” colorway, however, the design team at JB has some new iterations in the tank for the coming year. Bringing us yet another neutral color scheme, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Washed Heritage” has just received its first look.
Coming with a two-tone color palette of grey and white across most of the upper, a mixture of suede and smooth leather helps construct the silhouette. White leather takes over on the toebox and quarter panel while dark grey suede that appears to have a washed effect makes its mark on the mudguard, eyestays, and heel and collar overlays. A tonal white hue is found along the tongue and lace set with a dark black sockliner and fire red accents on the Nike Air tag providing a change of pace to this mostly two-tone look. As for other branding details, the Swoosh along the profile is covered in dark grey suede while the debossed Jordan Wings logo on the collar gets a white finish. Underfoot, the iconic AJ 1 midsole comes dressed in sail with a black rubber outsole below that completes the look.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Washed Heritage is set to release on June 10th, 2023 through Nike SNKRS and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s and grade school sizing, the retail price is set at $180 and $140 respectively.
