Aside from crafting colorways directly related to Michael Jordan, whether that be based on moments in his career or some of his favorite hobbies, Jordan Brand will take inspiration from just about anything to add some flavor to the Air Jordan lineup. For the upcoming Holiday 2023 season, we've already got confirmation that the Air Jordan 11 will be paying homage to the DMP colorway with the new "Gratitude" rendition, however, as initially reported by zSneakerHeadz, expect to see a women's exclusive "Neapolitan" inspired colorway of the Air Jordan 11 for Holiday 2023.
Unlike most Air Jordan 11 colorways, this Neapolitan-inspired rendition features leather where you'd typically find ballistic mesh. This material comes in a sail hue which continues onto the nylon lace loops, leather heel overlay, laces, and tongue. The most iconic detail on the Jordan 11, its patent leather overlay, receives a dark brown, almost black makeover and comes in its higher cut.Branding details like the Jumpman along the collar, “23” on the heel, and “Jumpman Jordan” spelled horizontally along the center of the tongue remain, the former of the three coming in black. Rounding out the look is the Phylon-cushioned midsole in sail paired with a semi-translucent rubber outsole in pink.
The Air Jordan 11 Retro Neapolitan W will release November 11 through Nike SNKRS and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming women’s, pre-school, and toddler sizing, the retail price for the upcoming Jordan 11 is $225, $100, and $80 respectively.
