Packs of sneakers following a similar aesthetic have been a part of Nike and Jordan Brands' release calendars for decades now with one of the latest being the “Craft” series, taking popular Jordan silhouettes and making unique changes to the materials and color palette to appear almost like bespoke iterations of the various sneakers in the series. Adding on to the DIY aesthetic, an Air Jordan 2 Retro Low Craft has just appeared in an “Atmosphere” colorway.
Taking on muted pink hues throughout its upper, the sneaker comes comprised of what appears to be a canvas material in a pinstripe pattern with pale vanilla hits accenting throughout. This pinstripe pattern runs around the mudguard and quarter panel while the collar portion comes in a checkerboard, almost picnic table-like design. Continuing onto the tongue, the pattern returns to normal and comes accented by white laces as well as pale vanilla TPU eyestays, and an Air Jordan Wings logo in this same shade. Back on the heel, a semi-translucent heel counter comes in more atmosphere pink shades while the top portion continues the pale vanilla accents. Rounding out the design is the white AJ 2 midsole paired with a grey and pale vanilla rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 2 Retro Low Craft Atmosphere is set to release on April 8th, 2023 through Nike SNKRS and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $150.
