The Air Jordan 2 comeback, kicked off by Virgil Abloh in November 2021, is still going strong. With a handful of colorways already under our belt, released during the first half of 2023, there's more in store for us in the latter half. Expect to see the Air Jordan 2 Retro "X-Mas" and Air Jordan 2 Retro Low "X-Mas" alongside a few others to round out the year. Heading into 2024, Jordan Brand will continue dropping new Air Jordan 2s, including "White Fire Red," "Sail" for the ladies, and a few Lows. In addition, Summer 2024 will bring the Air Jordan 2 Retro Low in an all-new "Summit White Diffused Blue" iteration.
The Air Jordan 2 Retro "Summit White Diffused Blue" once again channels Michael Jordan's alma mater, the University of North Carolina. The two-tone shades of diffused blue and light armory blue complement the white-based leather upper. Darker blue hits can be seen via the Wings logo on the tongue and stripe on the sides. Light blue highlights the plastic heel and a small portion on the back of the outsole. Jordan Brand sits this AJ 2 Low on a coconut milk-colored midsole/outsole combo for a vintage feel to complete the look. While exact color placement and materials are unknown, this new AJ 2's arrangement should align with the classics based on its colorway description and the information we have obtained.
The Air Jordan 2 Retro Low Summit White Diffused Blue will release Summer 2024 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's and gradeschool sizing, retail is set at $150 and $130, respectively.
