When the Air Jordan 36 made its debut in August of 2021, a number of Jordan Brand athletes had special edition colorways made and released in limited quantities. Players such as Kia Nurse, Jayson Tatum and Luka Doncic were honored during this series. In addition, Guo Ailun, the first Chinese professional basketball player to be sponsored by Jordan Brand also received a colorway. Now in 2022, Guo has a second pair dropping.
Dubbed the “Global Game” edition, this Air Jordan 36 comes in a white, hyper jade and cyber colorway. Featuring a white-based Leno-weave upper with jade accents. Hits of cyber can be found via the Jumpman logo on the tongue and Chinese characters on the inside tongue, insoles, back heel and midfoot plate. Iridescent hits on the midsole as well as the custom “G” logo on the back heel tabs round things out.
The Air Jordan 36 Guo Ailun Global Game is set to release on February 23rd, 2022. It will drop at Nike as well as select Jordan Brand retailers both in-store and online throughout Asia. They will be available in men’s and gradeschool sizes. Men’s pairs will retail for $185. Keep it locked to our Twitter and Mobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
