Even with the AJ 37 on the horizon, Jordan Brand allows the Air Jordan 36 to ride into the sunset with an all-white low top iteration. The AJ 36 has had an incredible run of colorways, ranging from extremely colorful to plain and simple. JB embraced the low-top as a medium for collaboration, tapping not just basketball players, but streetwear brands, and creatives alike, to create a colorway of the AJ 36 Low with their own personal flair. And even with the relatively simple paneling of the upper, the different PE and GR colorways have shown how versatile the Leno-weave jacquard upper really is when taking on color and prints.
In comes the monochrome Air Jordan 36 Low “White Metallic Silver.” The white Leno-weave upper is overlaid with the usual strip of TPU in white, as the midsole is broken up with a strip of metallic silver. The same metallic silver is used for the Jumpman logo, with the “36” on the lace locks being the other hit. The blue tint of the translucent outsole is contrasted with a flat-white Jumpman logo just underneath the forefoot Zoom Air unit, with the usual branding peeking through a small window in the outsole and “Air Zoom” in black on the small circular window in the heel.
The Air Jordan 36 Low White Metallic Silver is set to release on July 21st, 2022. Look for the sneakers to release on Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers for a retail price of $165 in men's sizes.
